Walt jumped straight into the software industry right out of college. Twenty-five years later, with the help of a lot of people, he has risen through the ranks to become the CEO of seven successful companies that have realized an aggregate enterprise value of well over $4 billion. Walt currently serves on several boards, including Acronis, Ambassador, Juno, Coreview, and AnyDesk. He is currently Chairman of the Board at Devo and is serving as CEO.
Kayla joined Devo as VP, GRC in 2021 and was named Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in January 2022. Kayla is an accomplished cybersecurity leader with over 15 years of experience in safeguarding organizations against evolving cyber threats. As CISO at Devo, she oversees the development and implementation of robust cybersecurity strategies to protect the company’s sensitive information and digital assets. Prior to joining Devo, Kayla held key leadership roles in prominent global cybersecurity and financial firms, where she honed her expertise in risk management, incident response, regulatory compliance, and security governance.
Mike joined Devo in 2021 as VP of Finance and was named CFO in May 2023. He plays a key role in driving growth, streamlining operations and strengthening the company’s financial performance. He has over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, with specific expertise in financial planning & analysis and compliance. Prior to joining Devo, Mike led FP&A at Extreme Reach, a provider of technology solutions for creative logistics. Prior to that, he held additional roles at Keurig, The Broad Institute and Gorton’s Seafood.
Brian is responsible for driving customer value throughout all stages of the Devo journey, including global sales, onboarding and technical services, and customer success. Brian has more than two decades of experience in software sales, including several leadership positions at Brightcove, CA Technologies, Pivotal Software and Symantec.
Brian is passionate about customer and partner success, driving business results and operational excellence. He has deep expertise in SaaS, open source, security, and cloud business models at both pre-IPO companies and large matrixed organizations.
Ingo oversees global legal, regulatory and human resources operations for Devo. He has two decades of experience as General Counsel at leading software companies based in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining Devo, Ingo worked at LogicNow, a SaaS MSP provider, and TeamViewer, a connectivity software company.
Before his in-house positions as General Counsel, Ingo was a Senior Associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, a New York-based law firm, advising various global investment firms and portfolio companies on M&A, IPOs, data privacy, IP, and software licensing. Earlier in his career, he was an associate at Clifford Chance, an international law firm headquartered in London.
Rakesh Nair is the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Product Management at Devo, overseeing the company’s research and development efforts, product management and user experience. He has over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and was the co-founder and CEO of Kognos, an autonomous cyber threat hunting platform that Devo acquired.
Prior to founding Kognos, Nair served as the Head of Engineering for the NetWitness suite of products at RSA. He ran a global 150+ person team to develop SIEM, NDR, and EDR products. He joined RSA through its $250M+ acquisition of Silvertail, where he led engineering, pioneered AI in cybersecurity, and oversaw the product’s growth to an enterprise-ready offering, generating over $20M in revenue. Nair has also held various leadership roles at Juniper Networks, NetScreen Technologies, and other organizations.
As the senior vice president of marketing, Stephanie champions Devo’s mission to reduce the burden on security teams and better protect organizations. She and her team are responsible for strategy and execution, including demand generation, branding, product marketing, messaging, and communications.
As a twenty-year veteran of the B2B technology industry, she has led transformative initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention at Fortune 100 companies. She joined Devo in 2022 as the vice president of growth marketing, establishing an integrated go-to-market strategy with sales. Before that, she helped shape the corporate communications function at Raytheon Technologies after the historic merger between Raytheon and UTC. Stephanie also managed global demand generation at IBM’s $2.5B security division, building on more than a decade of experience leading campaigns for IBM software and services.
